The four different interactive sets include:

Set One: Read It. Pick the matching picture.

In Set 1 children choose the picture that corresponds to the word shown.

Set Two: Finish the word.

In Set 2 children look at the picture. They then drag letters to fill the beginning and ending sound boxes.

Set Three: Read It. Type It. Cover the Picture.

In Set 3 children read the word. Then type the word in the yellow box. Finally students cover the corresponding picture.

Set Four: Put it all together.

In Set 4 children look at the picture and tap each dot to segment the sounds in the word. Then they drag letters to finish the beginning and ending sounds. Finally the type the word in the yellow box.

We have also included printable PDF versions of the slides so that you can use them in-person if you’d like. They work well to introduce the activity in small group and then let children get additional practice with the digital sets.
