Tips for Use:
Print out the play dough building letter cue cards you’d like to use with your students. Consider printing on colorful paper.
You will find cue cards with uppercase only, lowercase only, and uppercase with lowercase.
Cut the pages apart into individual cards. Laminate the cue cards. If desired, you can hole punch the cards and place them on binder rings.
Encourage the children to reference the cue cards as they build the letters of the alphabet using play dough.
For added fun provide loose parts such as beads, small plastic gems, or mini erasers for kids to embellish the letters and get additional fine motor practice.
Extend the activity by challenging the children to build their names or other sight words with play dough.
If desired, the cards can also be left unlaminated.
