Tips for Use:

Use these fine motor alphabet mats in an alphabet center or writing center during back to school or during the fall (or year round!).

Print out the mats as full page, 2 per page or 4 per page. A color and a black and white version is included. Consider printing on colorful paper.

Consider laminating the mats. If desired, you can hole punch the cards and place them on binder rings.

Ideas for Use:

Have kids roll play dough snakes to form the letters.

Have kids use “seed” manipulatives (sunflower seeds, black beans, tiny pom poms, or white pony beads) to form the letters.

Have kids use dry erase markers on laminated mats to practice writing the letters. (Binding the mats into a book works well for this option.)

If desired, the cards can also be left unlaminated.
