Inside this set you’ll find:
Individual uppercase letter prompt cards (4 to a page)
Individual lowercase letter prompt cards (4 to a page)
Combined upper and lowercase letter prompt cards (4 to a page)
Combined upper and lowercase letter mats (1 to a page as shown below)
Tips for Use:
Print out the dot building letter cue cards you’d like to use with your students. Consider printing on colorful paper.
You will find cue cards with uppercase only, lowercase only, and uppercase with lowercase.
Cut the pages apart into individual cards. Laminate the cue cards. If desired, you can hole punch the cards and place them on binder rings.
The children can use the cue cards as references for making letters using dots. They can build letters using pompoms, cotton balls, bingo chips, or other round counters/manipulatives.
Dot paint markers on construction paper is another possibility.
If desired, the cards can also be left unlaminated. The children can then use cotton swabs or even their fingers to dot paint the letters on the cards themselves.
This 52-page pack includes the following printables:
- Uppercase only cue cards
- Lowercase only cue cards
- Combined upper and lowercase cue cards
- Corresponding dot building mats
